Meet Our Educators
All our educators are Plural themselves. That's right, ALL our educators have lived experience with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), Other Specified Dissociative Disorder (OSDD), and/or identify as Plural. You'll learn directly from Plurals themselves. Our educators team consists out of Doctors, therapists, social workers, coaches, peer support workers and community advocates.


Stronghold
Stronghold (They/Them) are the volunteer founders of TPA. They are 38 years old, transgender, from the Netherlands, and a dedicated parent of a teenager. Diagnosed with DID over 15 years ago, they passionately share their lived experiences through direct community engagement—including answering over 5000 questions, writing 85+ articles, and creating more than 150 educational videos—Stronghold remains deeply committed to supporting, empowering and uplifting the Plural community.
Melissa Barsotti
Melissa Barsotti (She/Her) is a therapist who identifies as having a system. She has over 15 years of experience in various therapeutic settings, including crisis fieldwork, adult psychiatric hospital intensive care units, integrative healthcare, nonprofit community mental health, and private practice. Melissa specializes in working with complex trauma and dissociative adaptations, including OSDD and DID.


Katie Keech
Katie Keech, MFT (They/Them) is a therapist who identifies as part of a plural system. They have over 20 years of professional experience in community mental health, forensic programs, and private practice. Katie specializes in severe dissociative disorders, complex PTSD, and neurodivergence from a neurodiversity-affirmative framework.
Dr. Jamie+ Marich
Dr. Jamie+ Marich (She/They) is a trauma therapist, EMDR trainer, educator, and author of multiple books, including "Dissociation Made Simple" (2023). Jamie is open about their lived experience with dissociative identities, advocating for reducing stigma within clinical and professional communities. They specialize in trauma-informed care, dissociation, and countertransference, emphasizing authentic, compassionate approaches to therapy.
